This property is owned by a man in his 50's. He is a graduate of McMaster University.

While at university, he participated on the fencing team. He was named MVP at McMaster in 2001. He went on to compete in International Tournaments from 2001 to 2003 in Montreal.

The property has a lot of musical history inside. In the living room are two empty guitar cases and a piano. As you make your way past the living room to the kitchen, there are several vinyl record albums underneath the kitchen table. I found a Black Sabbath Paranoid album cover, no sign of the record.

There are many sheets of music and lyrics to be found throughout the house. He also collected DVD's and VHS tapes which can be found on both levels of the house. There were books and albums with classical music composers.

In this video, we explore two properties along Lake Ontario. Both of them are going to be demolished. Excavators are on site at the first property already.
Sandra's House - a decaying and peeling urban house in Ontario
I don't have much background information on this property except that in 2012 it was listed under the name of a woman named Maria, with a German last name. We explored this house in February of 2023, and it had electricity.

There's quite a bit of decay in the form of the ceiling having water damage and fallen down, buckled floors and peeling paint. There's also black mold on one of the doors.

The appearance of the dining room however is what stood out to me as it looked like someone was getting ready to sit down to eat. Most likely the table was staged for photography.

This exploration left me with a lot of questions and overwhelming sadness. I know know that the woman has passed away, and as for the husband I'm not sure if he's alive or not.

It's possible that someone passed away in this house. Note that I've blurred the sensitive portions of this video.

This castle was built in 1972 as a business to sell craftssingle castle. It grew to become a 45 acre amusement park that saw thousands of visitors annually.

The owner sold it in 2016. The new owner added a 10 site campground. When Covid hit, the park closed and has never reopened.

Please be respectful if you visit this location.

In my most recent exploration, I visit a house which was lived in by one family who emigrated to Canada from Germany. They formed a family business that produced buses.

This house was purchased by the family in 1968 and seems to have been left in it's original condition. The highlight for me was the basement bar which must be the original 1968 design.

This house will be demolished.

The second portion of the video was erroneously filmed vertically.

This video was filmed inside a house that belonged to a family who survived the Holocaust during World War II. They came to Canada to begin a new life.

Their house was built in 1968 and occupied by this same family ever since. It's a beautiful retro time capsule from the late 1960's even though there's little personal effects left inside.

As for why I pan off to the side and down, it's because people keep getting in my $*%@*$# shots... so I have to wait for them to exit the area.

A messy time capsule house... perhaps not so much a capsule as it is just a mess.
