The contents of this house, located on Lord Seaton Road, were sold off in February of 2020 as part of an estate sale. The owners either sold the house or are deceased. An application has been filed to demolish the house.
There’s nothing remarkable about my photos, the space was a little too confined for the wide angle photos and the composition is rather boring. Still, there were some cool aspects of this house including the staircase, wallpapered ceilings and the basement bar.

This home was never listed on the market so I would assume it was sold privately to a developer as-is, where-is due to the clutter inside. When I researched this house a few years back, there wasn’t much of interest. The last owners were an elderly Jewish couple who raised several children in the home. There were some markings in the basement showing various heights on the wall with names corresponding to their kids/grandchildren. The husband was an executive at a large company that builds/manages long term care homes across the country. He passed away in 2013, and his wife stayed behind in the home for about 8-9 years, at which point she presumably moved into a condo or retirement home. A new house was built on the site in 2023 and if what I found is correct, it is lived in by a retired NHL player! The surviving spouse passed away last year (the family’s surname was relatively uncommon).
